All performances cannot be longer than 6 minutes (does not include setup time) - Please provide to the exact seconds if possible.  

Are you the applicant open to performing for other opportunities at the festival?

** Application deadline is August 5th, 2023 11:59PM  **  Finalists will be notified by August 9th evening by 9PM

** Artist(s) shall be an individual artist/performing group with ethnic Asians represented in the group.    ** Artist(s) shall present audition piece via YouTube/Facebook/Vimeo link.  ** Artist(s) shall commit to the performance date and time requirements:  VietFest Got Talent will be held tentatively at 2:00 PM Saturday August 12, 2023  ** Artist(s) and/or its primary representative shall work interactively with the organizer to ensure the best quality performance for the festival.    ** Artist(s) shall submit detailed bio of its group/performer(s), description of their performance, and any photography, cd/dvd, video clips, newsprints and other promotional materials that the Organizer can use as part of the Talent Competition  promotional plan.  ** Artist(s) shall assist in promoting event to the public, especially its own community and/or provide the network for the Organizer to do so.  First Place winner selected by a jury of judges chosen by the Organizer will determine the award of $$1000 for the 1st place winner and 2nd Place is $500 and 3rd Place is $250 (Total Cash Prizes -= $1750)

**  Applicant must abide by the organizing principles of NOVAL/VietFest.  **  We reserve the right to reject any application, refuse participation based on qualities or descriptions deemed detrimental to the success of the VietFest's Got Talent Competition or in violation of local Fair ordinances.

In consideration of my application being accepted, I hereby for myself, my heirs, personal representatives and executors, waive, release, and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for loss or damages which I may have or may hereafter accrue to me against the organizers and sponsors of the VietFest and NOVAL, patrons, employees and supporters and their respective successors, and assigns, for any and all injuries which might be suffered by me in said event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my name, photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, without compensation or remuneration.
