Required
YOUTH NOVICE DIVISIONS - Ages 5-11 (12 optional)
WE HAVE UPDATED THIS SINCE REGISTRATIONS HAVE OPENED -- Please contact us with questions.

Tournaments, Regular Shows, Smokers, PMT's, and PKB's:  These ALL count 1:1.
Due to the aggression level at these events, ALL bouts are counted as a regular bout. The fighter is in there to TKO and/or control his/her opponent.  A scored win/loss outcome is the end result regardless of the rules style. Any bout where the fighter is allowed to participate at full aggression for a scored outcome of win/loss, is counted 1:1.  **This includes the 2019 MT World Expo's YDL Division! Any participation at the tournament is counted as 1:1.  This also includes all events where a 'championship belt' is awarded to the winner.

USA Youth Scrimmages (YDL)
Class E - Controlled aggression. No winner/loser. All Draws. No Scoring. Each match up is 3-1 minute rounds with each opponent. Most fighters will participate at each individual scrimmage 2-3 times. Each match up is to be reported. Also include the YDL location, date, host so we can confirm participation. These matchups will count as 3:1 as far as experience for tournament placement.  (For Example - Bobby is matched against Sammy for 3-1 minute rounds. Bobby is then matched against Tommy and then against Billy.  Bobby participated in 3 match ups at that YDL Scrimmage event. You will report 3 YDL bouts on the registration form.  But for placement purposes "WE" will convert that to count as 1 Muay Thai Bout.)

Class D - Semi-controlled aggression.  Winner/loser announced. No KO or TKO outcome. This will be counted as 2:1 for experience.  We still need all matchups reported as listed in the example above. *Tournament bouts are not counted here.

Canada Youth Movement (CYM)
The CYM is similar to the YDL's Class E.  Therefore it will also be counted at 3:1. Please read the example listed above, if unsure how to report it.

EXPLANATION OF DIVISIONS: What experience to count.
REPORT EVERYTHING!

BREAKDOWN OF EACH DIVISION FOR ALL FIGHTERS:
Novice 0-3 Fights
Class B 4-12 Fights
Class A 13 & above. Class A is also an OPEN division. Those with 'pro' experience may enter. No purses paid. Amateur tournament rules in effect. Your bout will be listed as an AMATEUR bout with the TBA-SA..

*Please count ALL ring experience! If you are unsure if it counts, ASK! We include in-gym smokers, "sparring nights", sanctioned, unsanctioned, boxing, mma, etc etc. Regardless of what age you participated in them. There will be NO excusable reason for not counting everything. If in doubt, do NOT ask your coach, a friend or a teammate!  ASK US!

*Fighter WILL BE DQ'd if all experience is not reported. Ethics team will be vetting fighters!
*Age 17 CAN fight in the adult division.
*"Senior" fighters, age 40-49, do NOT have to compete in the senior divisions.
*Ages 50-55 are required to compete in the Senior division.
*If you have competed in a 'pro' fight in Thailand, you MUST register in Class A.  If in doubt. ASK..

**If you are a head trainer/coach - you CANNOT compete in the Novice division! If you are an assistant coach, please contact us for approval for novice division .

***Note! Former Novice Champions -- Safety is our main focus. If you have 3 tournament fights and/or a record of 3-0 and/or won all 3 fights by TKO/KO,  we request that you register in Class B. To discuss this or for a individual review, contact us.
YDL EXPERIENCE FOR YOUTH Ages 5-11 (12) *

Fighter's Record: Please read before answering the following questions *
BE HONEST! Our Ethics Committee will research fighters as much as possible to confirm records are accurate.  We do what we can with the information available to us. If you fail to disclose everything and we miss it and you slip by, we reserve the right to follow up with consequences after the tournament is over.  We take 'cheating' very seriously!. We will research thoroughly if given a lead from someone else. PLEASE do not be hesitant to give us a head's up if someone is not disclosing all of their ring experience.  We keep all of our leads confidential and appreciate the help. If we discover a fighter has blatantly lied and withheld ring experience, they will be disqualified without a refund and teammates (if applicable) may also be disqualified.  Include ALL fight experience - we need FULL DISCLOSURE. If you are unsure whether to count it, contact us and we will advise what needs to be counted. Do NOT ask a trainer, teammate or friend. ASK US.  Thank you!

WHAT COUNTS?
99.9% Counts!  For a full detailed explanation of what ring experience will count on your record, please visit our website: http://www.tbasanctioning.org/REPORTEVERYTHING.htm    We count ALL sanctioned and non-sanctioned Muay Thai, Kickboxing, San Shou, PKB, PMT, YDL, and all other combative sports such as Boxing, MMA, and Pankration. All fights that took place regardless of what age you were at when participating. We also count 'in-gym smokers' or 'sparring events' where other gyms come in, spectators are present, bouts are matched up, etc. etc.  If its promoted as an event, it IS an event and IS counted, regardless if it takes place in your own gym or somewhere else.  If you are matched up against teammates. THESE MAY COUNT.  If in doubt, ASK!  Visit our website for more information and if it is still unclear, ASK!  If its a gray area, confirm with us, don't assume.

UPDATING YOUR RECORD: *
It is your responsibility to update us if you have any fights (demos, exhibitions, etc) AFTER registering. Please send updated record via email. PLEASE, send a detailed email.  "I fought and I won or lost" is not sufficient information.  We need your current record after that win/loss, listed like this "W-L-D/KO" with the opponents name, and promotion date/location so the research staff does not get your bouts confused. The more information you can provide, the easier to make sure we have your record correct.  It is very much appreciated! :) If you fail to notify us so you can stay in a division you are no longer able to be in after your additional fight(s), you will be disqualified.

I understand that my spot in the bracket is NOT GUARANTEED until I have completed ALL required steps including submission of this form and payment.  I understand if by the time I have completed all required steps and my first choice of brackets is filled up, I can move to a 'stand by' position in that bracket or I can move to another bracket/division that still has openings.  If I am placed in an 'over flow' bracket due to my original selection being full, and something becomes available, I can request to be moved back to my original space and I will be moved at no cost.

Please refer to website for exact dates).  If I need to go up to a higher division (novice to B, B to A) or the TBA-SA asks me to move, it will be done at no charge to me.  At weigh ins, if I cannot make weight and a spot is available in a bracket/division better suited, I can move once all weigh ins have been completed by paying the transfer fee of $50.  I understand, if I show up at weigh ins and cannot make weight, I will either have to withdraw and receive no refund, or I will pay the transfer fee of $50 and move into a different bracket.  If I have paid my registration fee, am listed as an 'alternate' and show up ready to fight, but I am unable to fight due to my bracket still being full, I may choose to move to an acceptable bracket that still has an opening and willl not be charged the 'transfer fee'.
Required
READ AND CONFIRM:  Single Fighters & Match Ups for 2 man brackets *
Approximately 6 weeks before the event, brackets with no fighters will be closed and cannot be re-opened.  A bracket MUST have at least one PAID fighter registered in it to be held open. A 'pending' (non-paying) fighter CANNOT hold a bracket open.  At this time, the TBA-SA staff will begin adjusting brackets with single fighters.  In order to have time to finalize orders for belts and awards, we MUST close out single person brackets 4 weeks out. If no one has registered by then, you MUST choose another bracket or division unless other agreements with TBA-SA have been made.  Your trainer will be contacted to discuss possible changes to ensure you have at least one fight and everyone has sufficient time to make new weight.  By completing this registration, the person submitting it agrees to the match ups completed by the TBA-SA staff where matching is needed. If you decide to not participate in the match made, the fighter will be dropped and will not receive a refund.  If a fighter has absolutely no option, they will still receive their goody bag, weekend event pass, and a credit for the following year.  No Awards will be awarded without competing in at least one fight.
Required
