1000 Books Before Kindergarten
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a simple and very manageable way to help your child get ahead before their schooling begins. This is important because numerous studies estimate as many as one in five children have difficulties learning to read and reading proficiency is an early indicator of later academic success. Since public formal education does not typically start until ages 5-6, parents and caregivers are the first education providers during the early critical developmental periods.
