Summer 2018 Girls Tech Camp
SDSU's College of Engineering Femineer Program, in partnership with SDSU's Build IT, SDSU's PLTW Affiliate site and Qualcomm, will be offering the following summer technology camps for girls:

Incoming 7th and 8th graders for the 2018-2019 school year: Option 1: August 1 - 2, 2018 or Option 2: August 6 - 7, 2018

Incoming 9th and 10th graders for the 2018-2019 school year: Option 1: August 9 - 10, 2018

Each day runs from 9 am - 3 pm. Drop-off/Pick-up will be at 5500 Campanile Drive, San Diego, CA 92182. You are responsible for getting your daughter to and from the camp site (we will not be providing transportation or additional child care). Your daughter can attend this 2-day technology camp to learn to code with Scratch, program circuits, and program her own wearable technology to create an interactive tote bag to bring home. The $75 camp registration fee includes: hands-on activities during the 2-day camp at SDSU, take home projects (LED nametag & wearable technology/interactive tote bag), a Girls Tech Camp goody bag, and daily snacks.

Space is very limited, so apply early! We will review all the applications and send out confirmation emails to students selected to attend the camp. If you receive a confirmation email, you must confirm your daughter's attendance by completing the 2 following steps: 1) paying the $75 registration fee (payment link will be provided in the confirmation email), and 2) mailing us the signed parent permission form 3 weeks prior to the camp. By agreeing below, I understand that there is a $75 fee associated with this event. This fee covers supplies for the projects your daughter will bring home with her, snacks, room/space rental, and other materials that SDSU Femineers and buildIT SDSU purchase in preparation for the event. I also understand that I must cancel BEFORE the July 1, 2018 deadline to obtain a refund of these fees. *
If you register after the July 1, 2018 deadline, your fee is non-refundable.
By agreeing below, I understand that for both days of the camp my daughter will have to bring a packed lunch, as SDSU campus food options will be unavailable, and that I will drop her off & pick her up at the designated times. *
