The Digital Freedom Festival is organising an expert level discussion in cooperation with the European Commission on cybersecurity, focusing on the EU Cybersecurity ecosystem policy and the positions of the leading institutions representing the key components of the Cybersecurity strategy.

The main goal of expert discussion is to promote understanding of cooperation on cybersecurity issues among various actors, increase awareness about cyber security developments and risks in Europe, data protection and promoting safer internet use.

In the interconnected digital world every sector of society – government, business, public and private entities are facing cybersecurity threats and challenges. Transparent and co-ordinated landscape is required and information sharing is actively encouraged.
