Curbside Pick Up
Please fill out the following form to participate in MFL's curbside pick-up service.
When your order is filled, you will receive a phone call from the Library. Expect orders to take 48 hours to be ready.
You are then able to pick up your requested materials during the following hours:
Monday: 10 am to 2 pm
Tuesday: 4 pm to 8 pm
Wednesday: 10 am to 2 pm
Thursday: 3 pm to 7pm
Friday: 10 am to 2 pm
Sunday: 1 pm to 4 pm
When you get to the Library to pick up your requested materials, call 610-566-7828 to let us know you are outside. Please stay in your car or at least 6 feet from the pick up table.
A staff member will place your bag of materials on the pick-up table near the entrance.
Once the staff member has re-entered the building, you may approach the table to pick up the bag. If there are multiple bags, check that the last four digits of your phone number AND the first three letters of your last name are displayed on the bag you take.
If you need to return materials, please place them in the bin marked for returns. Do not give your returns to library staff. At this time, we ask that as much as possible, please try to return materials you check out to the library from which you checked out those materials.
Please note, at this time we can only fulfill orders from MFL's collection. To see what is in our collection visit
and choose "Middletown Free Library" from the drop down menu.
You are limited to 20 items per library card. If you are picking up materials for multiple people, you will need to list all barcodes, separated by a comma, and note which items are for which card in the "Materials Requested" section. Note this limit is per visit, the standing rule of 100 items total on each card remains.
If your requested material is not picked up within 5 days, we will return them to our shelves. You will need to fill out the pick up form to request them again.
You must have an active library card in order to request materials for Curbside Pick-up. If you do not have a card, please call the library and we can sign you up for one over the phone. You will be provided your library card number so you can access digital materials right away and your new card will be included with your first pick-up order.
We are only able to fulfill your order if your account is in good standing with fines less than $20. No fines have been accruing since March 7th, and are still not being charged, so this is only for patrons that had balances of $20 or more before that date. If you owe more than $20 in fines please call or email the library. Staff are here to work with you during these unusual times to ensure access to physical materials from the library.
