PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING:

We are always looking for passionate educators to add to our team! If you love children, teaching, nature and have an incredible amount of patience then we may just be the perfect fit!

CLASSES WE ARE RUNNING FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR:

-Forest Preschool classes from 10-12:30 M-F at our Provo and M-TH @ the Vineyard location

-Forest Preschool classes 12:15-2:45 on TTH at Provo and Vineyard locations

-Forest Kindergarten at our Provo location from 9:30-12:00 M-TH and T-F

-Wilderness Explorers Class for ages 6-11 is running T,TH,F from 12:30-2:30.

-Forest Tots Caregiver & Me Class for ages 15 months -35 months on Thursdays and Fridays

This means our positions are PART-TIME.

We serve children ages 15 months -11 years.

We follow the teachings of Montessori, Waldorf, and Emilia Reggio and view children as capable, highly intelligent, curious, worthy of respect, and incredibly special. We believe in intentional teaching, learning through purposeful and unstructured play, and believe in partnering with parents to be the 2nd teacher, and that the classroom is the 3rd teacher.

Treasurer on the Board (this is a non-paid position and requires experience) 5-15 hour a month volunteer

Briefly list your experience with teaching children, certifications, and schooling:

We are an all season, all weather, all outdoor school. We spend 100% of our class time outside. Only when extreme weather conditions occur (lightning, high winds, temperatures below 22 degrees, bad air quality, etc) will we cancel school for the day. Winter is long and uncomfortable. Are you willing to work in all weather? (rain, snow, cold, wind)
