Wasatch Nature School Application Form
We are always looking for passionate educators to add to our team! If you love children, teaching, and nature then we may just be the perfect fit!

We are running classes from 9:30-12:00 M-F, and our advanced nature study class takes place twice a week in the afternoon. This means our positions are part-time. We are currently operating in three locations: Vineyard, Provo, and Salt Lake City.

We are running preschool classes (ages 3-5), Forest Kindergarten (ages 5-6), and our Advanced Nature Study classes (ages 6-12).

We follow the teachings of Montessori, Waldorf, and Emilia Reggio and view children as capable, highly intelligent, curious, worthy of respect, and incredibly special. We believe in intentional teaching, learning through purposeful and unstructured play, and believe the classroom is the 3rd teacher.

We are so excited to be part of the Forest School Movement that is taking place all over the country and we cant wait to get to know you!

Briefly list your experience with teaching children, certifications, and schooling:
We are an all season, all weather, all outdoor school. We spend 100% of our class time outside. Only when extreme weather conditions occur (lightning, high winds, temperatures below 22 degrees, bad air quality, etc) will we cancel school for the day. Are you willing to work in all weather? (rain, snow, cold, wind)
