1st Singapore International Chess Day Online Tournament
To celebrate International Chess Day, the #ChessAgainstCovid team is pleased to organise the
FIRST Singapore Online International Chess Day Tournament on Monday, 20 July.

Tournament details:

Venue: lichess server
Date: 20 July, Monday
Time: 8pm - 10pm
Format: Arena, berserk allowed
Time control: 3+0

This event is open for registration to all chess players based in Singapore or Singaporean/ Singapore flag players based overseas.

The following prizes shall be awarded:
1) 5 main prizes
2) 3 prizes for the top 3 women players
3) 3 prizes for the top U-16 players
4) 3 prizes for the top U-16 girls
5) 5 lucky draw prizes
6) 1 best game prize to be selected by the organisers

With the exception of the best game prize, each player is only entitled to one prize only.

The details of the prizes sponsored by various chess platforms and individuals will be announced shortly.

The tournament will be streamed live (https://www.twitch.tv/kevingoh) with commentary from GM Kevin Goh with Guest-of-Honour FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich joining the stream to share some messages with the Singapore chess community.

At the end of the event, we will also be announcing the team line-up representing Team Singapore in the upcoming FIDE Online Olympiad!
