We would love to welcome you to be part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, as we lead a joyous and jumpin' musical march through Southbank followed by a free concert at Federation Square.
Absolutely anyone can join in the fun, whether you're a musician, dancer, or just feel like funkin' it up.
To help you master your moves and nail the notes, we are holding workshops prior to the event - one for musicians and one for dancers.
You can still participate in the parade even if you haven't done the workshops, but it'll make it a richer experience if you do.
Further details can be found in our FAQ blog post: http://melbournejazz.com/blog/second-line-street-party-faqs
There is street parking nearby, but we recommend public transport (because its good to be green). The 19, 57, 58 and 59 are all nearby, plus several bus routes.
There will also be a short refresher session with the Horns of Leroy on the day of the parade:Saturday 3 June, 11am-11.45amMeet at the river side of The Langham, Melbourne
We strongly recommend catching public transport on the day - Flinders Street Station and multiple tram and bus routes are all near the start and finish points of the parade.
