2016-2017 OBOB Book Grant Application
The Oregon Battle of the Books is a project of the Oregon Association of School Libraries.

This is the Book Grant Application. To register your school to participate as a team in Oregon Battle of the Books, please use the School Participant Application.

This application does NOT guarantee you a grant; you will be notified if you receive a grant.
The deadline for this grant application is October 15, 2016.

This is the OBOB 2016-2017 Book Grant Application. It is not the PARTICIPANT application.  If you have not registered your school for OBOB yet, please go back to the Participant and Grant Registration page and fill out the PARTICIPANT application.  Only paid registrations will be eligible to receive a grant.  

This grant application serves as a contract. Please fill out this application and submit it if you want to be considered for a book grant during the 2016-2017 OBOB season. Your typed signature and typed principal's signature will be accepted by the OBOB Statewide Committee and LSTA grant administrators with the expectation that you agree to the OBOB/LSTA contract. The OBOB grants are organized by OASL (Oregon Association of School Libraries) and OLA (Oregon Library Association), with funding supported by an LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) grant.

We agree to participate in our region's 2016-2017 regional Oregon Battle of the Books competition. *
OBOB follows the OASL regional boundaries for regional tournaments. Your school must participate in the regional competition in which your district resides. No exceptions are made due to scheduling conflicts. Please initial below:
