2024 CSA Sign up!
We are super excited for this season and after a winter of reflecting on how last season went and what we expect from this upcoming year with some of the changes in our home and business we have done a mini remodel to our CSA!

This year we will be offering a produce CSA that will be market style - you can come and shop at the farmstand on Friday, Saturday or Sunday! This will give you more control over what produce you would like and how much, free up our time a little bit and give everybody more quality control. Our Egg CSA will be more or less the same and our meat share will be a once a month pickup instead of a weekly pickup with a pre-order form. (We are still working out the details for the meat.)

We will not be offering half shares or monthly shares and will be doing a limited amount of shares this year.

The last change we are making is the duration of CSA. Our first weekend will be the weekend of June 14th and the last weekend will be October 25nd which will be 20 weeks of CSA!
Our prices will stay the same as well.

For a full produce season ($30/week) - $600
For a full egg season ($5/week)- $100
Monthly meat share (with options for chicken, chicken parts and lamb/beef/turkey as available- $20/week) in June, July, August, September and October - $400

Please let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them for you :)

Terms of agreement - Expectations of Stony Hill Farm

I commit to membership in the Stony Hill Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program for the 2024 harvest season.

One aspect of CSA is that members support their farmer by sharing in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, disease, early frost, crop failure and so on) and rewards (the bounty from a good season.)  CSA farmers purposely plan for such contingencies, and use growing techniques that protect the harvest, minimize risk to members and optimize the rewards:  growing a wide variety of crops that thrive in different types of conditions, cover cropping, crop rotation, and irrigation.  Moreover, the CSA builds relationships of trust between the farmer and community group.  On the whole, members will get a wide variety of vegetables in plentiful amounts.  Therefore I agree that while Stony Hill Farm will act in good faith to provide good, fresh produce for the duration of the season, there is no guarantee of quantities or contents of weekly shares.

Terms of agreement - Expectations of CSA Member

As a CSA member, I agree to shop the farmstand between Friday morning and Sunday afternoon.

If I will be away or otherwise unable to pick up my share, I will make arrangements for someone else to pick it up for me and let Stony Hill Farm know who to expect.

I agree to be an active participant in the CSA program, and to contact Bing or Abigail if I have any questions or concerns.
