On the part of the Inclusive Schools project and OBESSU we invite you to participate in the online course for inclusion ambassadors!
This course is part of the Inclusive Schools project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission, which aims at creating an inclusive culture in school environments and giving the necessary tools to educational stakeholders to do so.
The main aim of this course is for participants to learn how to be more inclusive in their educational practices and how to transform their educational environments into more inclusive spaces.
The objectives of this course are:
To learn about inclusive education and inclusion in education
To know how to make educational spaces more inclusive
To develop action plans and future actions
The target group of this course are educational practitioners from all kinds: peer educators, teachers, trainers, student activists, etc.
The course will take place online with 4 online sessions (one session per week) and one optional mentoring session, starting from the 9th until the 30th November, complemented by some individual learning activities in between the sessions. The course will be a blended approach of non-formal education methodologies with experts’ interventions, aiming at creating a solid theoretical foundation to stimulate deep self-reflections and strong action plans.
The course will take place in English, however we invite people of all levels of English to participate. The course will be as follows:
Session 1: Introduction: what is inclusion? Monday 9th November, 17:00-18:30 CET
Session 2: Exploring inclusion with our experts. Monday 16th November 17:00-19:00 CET
Session 3: Inclusive education in action. Monday 23rd November 17:00-18:30 CET
Session 4: Getting ready - time for action! Monday 30th November 17:00-18:30 CET
(optional) Session 5: Mentoring on the Action plan. Monday 7th December 17:00-18:30 CET
