Oklahoma City Veterans History Project Interviews
Event Timing: January 17th, 2024
Event Address: All Souls’ Episcopal Church 6400 N Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116

Thank you very much for your interest in sharing your story with the Library of Congress in this interview event sponsored by Senator James Lankford and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America. Please use the form below to reserve your interview time.

You are free to speak about whatever you want in your interview, as long as it includes personal accounts of your military service. These interviews are unedited and uncensored, so your words will go into the historical record exactly as you spoke them. There is a list of sample questions on the Library of Congress website so that you can have an idea of the kind of questions you may be asked: https://www.loc.gov/programs/veterans-history-project/how-to-participate/sample-interview-questions/

Veterans telling their stories must fill out two required forms, the Biographical Data Form, and the Veteran's Release form. The release form gives the Veterans History Project permission to make your interview publicly available for nonprofit research purposes. It DOES NOT give away any rights. Copyright, likeness rights, and story rights are all retained by the veteran. Please download, print, and bring the completed forms with you to your interview:

Thank you for participating in the Veterans History Project, if you have any questions please contact Senator Lankford's Tulsa Office at (918) 581-7651 or maggie_sharum@lankford.senate.gov
