Elliot Park Mini-Grant Program Overview: Got a fun idea to bring your neighbors together? We’d love to help!
Do you live or work in Elliot Park? Have a creative idea to help build community, share resources, or simply get folks talking and connecting more? Whether it’s something new for your apartment building, your block, or the whole neighborhood—we want to hear it!
We’ve got mini-grants available to help you bring your project to life. From game nights to garden projects to porch concerts—if it brings people together, it’s worth doing.
With your fun idea, let’s make Elliot Park even more connected!
Elliot Park Neighborhood Inc. (EPNII) introduces a new Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program to partner with Elliot Park neighbors and provide funds to help make your project ideas happen. Get creative! While needing to stay within project guidelines, the program is meant to be open-ended, and we welcome your ideas, as you know your community best. (Mini Grant Projects will be funded up to $500; Program Guidelines HERE.) Project examples include, but are not limited to, community events, classes, gardening, arts or other projects aimed to build Elliot Park and neighborhood connection and involvement.
All EPNI members (must live or work in Elliot Park, or represent an Elliot Park business/organization) are eligible to apply, although priority will be given to resident applicants. Projects must occur in the Elliot Park neighborhood, for Elliot Park neighbors, and be open to all.
Because the goal of this mini-grant program is part of EPNI's broader efforts to encourage new involvement, especially from historically under-represented communities, including Black, Indigenous, People Of Color (BIPOC), students and other renters, people with low-income, and people with disabilities -- priority will be given to applicants representing underrepresented communities and projects that help meet those goals.
Please fill out the application below to the best of your abilities, to tell us about you, and what you hope to accomplish with your Mini-grant project proposal.
