Email address *
Full Name *
Name or Nickname you'd like to be called during the event. *
If you are on any social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), please let us know how to find you there (URLs are best). *
This event is for teens and adults only. Kids are welcome to briefly say hi, but the primary participant needs to be 13 or older. There will be other ways kids can participate in the celebration throughout the year--keep an eye on our newsletter and social media for those opportunities. *
This event will be recorded for legal reasons. That part is not negotiable. If this is a deal breaker for you, please contact us and we can refund your ticket. However, what we do with that recording is negotiable. We would like to be able to grab screen shots or share portions of video with our social media audiences so that they can experience some of the fun, but we respect if some of you do not want to be seen in marketing contexts such as these. Please let us know what your preferences are. *
This event will be held primarily via Zoom. If you do not yet have a Zoom account, please make one prior to the event by going to zoom.us and clicking "Sign Up, It's Free" in the top right corner. Once you've signed up and confirmed your account, go to zoom.us/download and download the first item in the list: Zoom Client for Meetings. Now you're ready to go! Please let us know how much experience you have with Zoom: *
Please note that your ticket is for one screen. It's OK for multiple people to be in that screen part of the time to peek in or say hi, but please don't log on with multiple devices. *
This event requires that you participate from a computer--laptop or desktop--and not a smart phone or tablet. This is because we will sometimes need you to have both a browser window and the Zoom app visible simultaneously, and other times will need you to be able to see detailed images clearly. *
We want to see you! It's hard to get to know a blank screen. Therefore, having both video and audio on during the event is requested. Some exceptions: if you are having a snack, talking to others off screen, your dog is barking, or there is other background noise that might be distracting to others, by all means turn your sound off for a few minutes. Also, while background images and studio effects that change your face are fun, they can also be distracting. Please choose a simple background or none at all, and leave the studio effects off. Thank you! *
Just because we're curious... where will you be Zooming from? (City, State/Province/County/Area, Country) *
One hour of this event will use the free site Board Game Arena. If you do not yet have a Board Game Arena account, please make one prior to the event and complete the tutorial they will walk you through a sample game. To get started, follow this link: https://en.boardgamearena.com/account?page=newuser What is your experience level with Board Game Arena? *
Board Game Arena handle (if you haven't made an account yet, type "not yet," but please email your handle once you know it to events@looneylabs.com) *
During the pyramid games portion of the event, one of the following things will happen. Please check the ones you would enjoy being a part of. Unchecked boxes indicate games you are not interested in playing. *
Required
Of the games that you checked above, which one would be your top choice? *
During "The Business Side of Making and Selling Games," Kristin will talk for a bit about game production, marketing, and sales channels, but then answer any questions you might have. If you already know of some questions you'd like to ask, please write them in below (you can write more than one). This will allow Kristin to review them and answer them at appropriate times along the way. Thank you!
Parsely is a group activity similar to an old-fashioned text adventure game. Andy plays the computer, and participants explore the world to solve the puzzle, taking turns giving short instructions to the "computer." It's a lot of fun! Have you ever participated in a Parsely event with Andy before? *
Andy has several Parsely adventures available. Please indicate which of those listed below you would be interested in playing. Unchecked boxes indicate adventures you are not interested in playing (perhaps because you've already played them in the past). *
Required
Of the Parsely adventures that you checked above, which one would be your top choice? *
Have something else to say? Here's the spot to do that! Thanks, and we'll see you on January 16th!
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
