AFRICA MENTORSHIP SURVEY 2021
This simple survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Would you mind sharing your thoughts to help us design a successful mentorship model for Africa?
We will protect your personal information. We won't share individual survey responses.
Fellows from a U.S Department of State Exchange Program are conducting this survey to learn more about mentorships in Africa. Fellows want to know about mentorship challenges, opportunities, and benefits for both the mentor and mentee.
Mentors have the extraordinary opportunity to facilitate a protege's personal and professional growth by sharing their knowledge and experience.
However, in Africa, mentorships have not been fully harnessed.
A mentor has both professional and life experience, who voluntarily agrees to help a mentee develop skills, competencies, and goals. Put another way; a mentor is an advisor and role model willing to invest in their mentee's personal growth and professional development.
A mentee is someone who has identified a specific personal or professional goal. Mentees believe that the guidance and support from a mentor can help them achieve their goals.
Currently, Africa lacks adequate data on the benefits and challenges of mentorship programs. Your response will help us learn what works, what doesn't, and what we should do to improve mentorship opportunities in Africa.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
WE APPRECIATE YOU.
