WHAT IS A PILGRIMAGE?A pilgrimage is a journey of the body as well as the soul in which our physical travels invoke the sense of spiritual progress toward God. As we move from site to site, visiting the Missions and Churches of California and learning about the saints and martyrs of our land, we reflect upon our journey to heaven and upon those who have gone before us.
WHAT WILL THIS PILGRIMAGE BE LIKE?This pilgrimage will be a time of prayer and meditation. There will be talks and activities on the bus and at the different stops, and in order to encourage the spirit of prayer, reflection and meaningful conversation, there will be no music players or video games allowed at any point during the pilgrimage. In the same spirit, all pilgrims must dress and act modestly, follow the directions of the chaperones and participate in all activities.
This is not just a trip or a vacation; it is not a time to simply shop or “see the sights,” though there will be some time for both. It is a time to pray, reflect and grow closer to God, as well as bond with others and make deeper, more spiritual friendships.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY Your right to refund should you choose to cancel your reservation is limited. Cancellations will be accepted only in exchange for a full-paying replacement pilgrim. Once you have made a deposit and confirmed, cancelled reservations are subject to a $100 per person fee for cancellations.
