Selected applicants will be notified by April 5th - upon confirmation you will be required to pay a $200 deposit.
Total balance will be due by load in (August 16th 2:00 pm)

Rock the Harbour is Nova Scotia’s classic rock festival. This 19+ 3-day outdoor event will be held at the beautiful Alderney Landing Events Plaza in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This year’s event features an outstanding line-up of Classic Canadian Rock bands performing the hits we’ve loved for decades. 

Alderney Landing is seeking passionate and innovative food vendors to contribute to Rock the Harbour’s vibrant atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for vendors to showcase their culinary delights to a diverse and engaged crowd. Whether your specialty is gourmet treats, international cuisine, or classic traditional festival fare, we welcome you to be a part of this exciting celebration.

Vendor Information:
Food truck vendors will be located along the side of the Events Plaza.
*Please note:
Vendors must be approved by Alderney Landing. Completion of the vendor form does NOT guarantee acceptance as a vendor. Vendors will receive confirmation of their booth assignment if accepted.

Vendor Fee is $1350 + HST per vendor food truck for the entire weekend (3 day event) 

Vendor Hours of Operation
Friday, August 16: Must be set up by 2:00pm and ready for inspection. Vendors cannot leave until the end of the show, approximately 11:00pm
Vendors who fail to arrive and be set up by 2:00pm will not be allowed to enter the Events Plaza. 
Saturday, August 17: Must be on-site at 2:30pm and ready to serve by 3:30pm and cannot leave until the end of the show, approximately 11:00pm. 
Sunday, August 18: Must be on-site at 2:30pm and ready to serve by 3:30pm and cannot leave until the end of the show, approximately 11:00pm.

Load In - Friday, August 16 - Trucks must be set up by 2:00pm for inspection and 4:30 pm opening hour.
Load Out - Sunday, August 18  -  Trucks must leave after the final performance at [time], after the crowd has dissipated. 

Food vendors will not be permitted to remove trucks or tents from the site overnight. 
All restock items will need to be walked or carted to your truck as driving is not permitted on the Events Plaza.

Security:
Alderney Landing will have security on-site for the entire Rock the Harbour event. However, you are responsible for your own products and other valuables at your space.

Please note that we expect a high volume of vendor applications.  Early submission of your application will help to secure your review of application and decision by Alderney Landing. 

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.  We have a limited number of spaces for Food Trucks available that we anticipate will be filled quickly; therefore, you are encouraged to submit your vendor application as soon as possible. 

Please note: 
Once this form is submitted and approved, you will be contacted by email by Operations Manager, Lori Laderoute with instructions for payment.

Cancellations must be made in writing by April 30, 2023 for a full refund. Cancellations received after April 30 will be charged a non-refundable fee of $100.

Vendors agree that Alderney Landing and its employees, volunteers, contractors do not accept responsibility for damage, theft or any loss to displays, materials or personal property.
