Te Deum is a choral organization comprised of two ensembles. The 32-voice Chamber Choir performs a wide variety of repertoire, ranging from the recently-performed period Bach St. John Passion to the most virtuosic and compelling compositions of the 20th and 21st centuries.
To focus on historically informed performances of early music (10c-18c), Te Deum pares down to an ensemble of about 16 voices, called Te Deum Antiqua. Though many singers choose to sing in both ensembles, it is not required – you may audition for either or both. Te Deum's singers are passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled. Both ensembles are volunteer.
Auditions for the 2017-18 season will be held June 10-12, 2017 at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, Kansas. To request an audition appointment, please submit the following form.
