Specifics: Uzbekistan is often referred to as “Chile of Asia”. It is one of the most rapidly growing exporters of fruits & vegetables in the world, its climate is unique and is perfect for growing highest quality produce with high sugar content. Potential of the country is large, but growers and traders are still learning how to work with markets beyond former USSR countries and FAO and EBRD are actively helping.
We spent time verifying the most experienced exporters of Uzbekistan and are bringing them at the table for the matching meetings. Top exportable products of Uzbekistan: sweet cherries, fresh grapes, tomatoes, peppers, fresh herbs, melons and watermelons, persimmon, pomegranate, potentially berries and kiwis, also nuts, dried and frozen fruits.
