KH&D Presents (April 25-26, 2019) - Application
Perform at SMUSH Gallery alongside new work from Katelyn Halpern & Dancers!

One evening Thursday & Friday, April 25-26, 2019
Time commitment for performers: 5:00-10:30p (tech and performance same day)
Performance: 8:00p
Location: 340 Summit Ave, Jersey City (10 minutes' walk from the Journal Square PATH station)
*Please note: the original post listed performance April 25-27, however there will only be performances April 25-26.

Know Before You Apply:

- This event is for movement-based performance (broad interpretations welcome!)
- $15 application fee, no production fee.
- 12 to 30 minute performances preferred.
- Venue is small (9''x16' performance space, 3/4 thrust style) and low tech (no theatrical lighting). A ceiling mounted projector and sound system are provided.
- Additional lighting, set, and sound amplification may be provided by the artist with approval from the gallery.
- Performers and choreographers are kindly asked to stay for the entire performance and the beginning of the reception.
- SMUSH Gallery may take informal photographs or short videos of the performance; these will be shared with performers.
- Documentation (video, photo) may be arranged in collaboration with the company.
- Applications will be accepted through 11:59PM Friday February 22, 2019; notification will be given by Friday March 1, 2019
