2017 TARC Fall Classic Volunteer Signup
How can you help at the TARC Fall Classic, held at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, MA, Saturday, September 30? Look below to find out! We'll be looking for a few more volunteers this year, as we are introducing a 50-miler (!) on an extended, 10-mile course (so we now have two aid stations). This is a big event, and a lot of fun. Come give a big Yeti AHHHHWWWOOOO and help A LOT of runners reach their goals. We're also happy to sign service requirements for other races if you can give us at least 8 hours of service.

Any special skills/talents we should know about?
Can be as serious as medical training to as goofy as grilled cheese making master, to a secret longing to become the yeti.

Fri, Sept 29, ~Noon - 3:00 PM (Marking)
Sat, Sept 10, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Sweep)
Available shifts. This will involve moving a lot of gear, cleaning gear, driving it to both aid stations, setting it up there. It can also involve registering runners, handing out their shirts/bibs. Be prepared to do whatever is needed! We hope to have REAL food for our crews, and highly encourage those working at aid stations to bring a lil' summin summin to share with their fellow volunteering Animals . . .). Your role may vary greatly from timing, to food prep, to motivational speaker, to preacher, to kitchen clean up, to things we've never even thought of before, and may or may not be comfortable doing ourselves . . . But we figured we'd give you a chance to tell us what YOU want to do first.

We cannot stress HOW IMPORTANT this job is. It ain't sexy, but it is this work that makes everyone else want to come back the next year. It will involve running the 10-mile course, picking up all signage, ribbons, and trash on the course, breaking down the two aid stations.
