What: 45 minute presentation/show
Where: 30 Elementary Schools in North Texas, tour staff will be based in Austin, but be lodged in N. Texas during weekday shows.
October 28, 29, 30: Rehearsals in Austin, 9AM-5PM
November 2-7, 9-14, 16-21: Shows in North Texas (The earliest travel departure time from Austin would be 2pm on Sundays. In some cases, there may be a Monday departure. Typically, there will be 2 shows per day. You will return to Austin on Fridays)
Note: Exact show and travel dates may be less than listed above, dates to be confirmed by Oct. 16.
1 MC: The lead presence at these events, guiding them through an existing visual presentation. MC leads the show, gets kids pumped up, leads them in a song/rap finale.
1 Mascot: As the MC's sidekick, you will be the energy during the show. Wears full mascot uniform with a giant head. Not a speaking role. High energy, high movement. Will also be trained as a backup MC.
1 Tech: Sets up our prepared A/V setup, mics and speakers, moves the presentation along behind the scenes.
1 Tour Manager/Wrangler: Is the face of the tour who manages call times and logistics. Before and during events, greets school personnel, and arranges performance space to show needs. Helps student volunteers during show.
Requirements for all Roles (unless otherwise noted):
Valid Texas drivers license
Experience working with kids, or performing with kids (except Tech)
Clean background check
$150-250 day rate depending on role and experience.
Lodging & Transportation:
Hotels and transportation provided for all travel days. Meals not included.
