Veterans' Day 2018: Thank Your Favorite Veterans
From George Washington to John F. Kennedy to Pat Tillman to Utah May Brent Taylor, we all have our favorite American heroes. These men and women have given of themselves for those things that we as a nation hold most dear: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The most important veterans we can thank are those closest to home: dad, mom, a brother, a sister, grandpa, grandma, auntie, uncle, cousin, teacher, principal, and friend. Please help Christa McAuliffe Middle School say, "Thank you for your service." to ALL the veterans we know this Veterans' Day, November 11, 2018.

You can thank your favorite veterans in two ways. First, you can fill out this electronic form, one form per veteran. Second, you can add their names to our "Thank A Veteran" Yellow riboons in your Social Science class by Thursday, November 8th.

You can watch the "Thanks" grow on the Christa McAuliffe Middle School "The Launch Pad" page at or by viewing the form results. Results will be posted on "The Launch Pad" page November 9th.

Let's see how many veterans the Christa McAuliffe Family can thank by Friday, November 9th.
