Thank you for your interest in joining the InFormation Team, the amazing group of volunteers who run Formation! Formation: The Design Mentorship Collaborative is the mentorship program that pairs BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) local college students studying design with established BIPOC design professionals primarily in Oregon.
Volunteers are instrumental in running and continuing to develop the program as well as supporting our mentors and mentees each year. The InFormation Team meets virtually 1 time per month and works on various projects in support of the Formation program including event planning, sponsorship and fundraising, mentor/mentee recruitment, social media messaging, and program content development. In-person and virtual volunteer opportunities are available. Based on how much funding is raised, volunteers who participate for the full year or longer will receive an annual stipend as a thank you for their hard work.
Please submit this form to let us know you are interested in becoming an InFormation Team volunteer and what areas of the program you'd be most interested in supporting.
This interest form is a rolling application so there is no deadline to submit. We will regularly review applications and onboard volunteers as soon as possible!
