The Maine Educational Opportunity Association (MEEOA) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the annual MEEOA Conference. We encourage presenters to share their best practices, individual research interests and expertise. This year’s conference theme is

We are particularly seeking proposals that target work with the following groups:
College students
Adults seeking to start/return to education

We welcome workshop proposals that focus on the uniqueness and value of educational practices of specific programs and services. Proposals involving interactive learning techniques and innovative methods are a must. Workshop sessions will run for one hour and fifteen minutes in length. Anticipated conference attendance is about 100, which may include TRiO professionals, high school guidance counselors and high school educators from the state of Maine.
