Welcome to the Connection Kickstart Program! This program is based on Carolyn's book 'A Parent's Guide To Early Communication' (December 2023). Please complete this short questionnaire to register your interest and Carolyn will be in touch with you soon.

What Is The Connection Kickstart™ Program?

- This is a 1:1 parent coaching program via telepractice, based on Carolyn's book 'A Parent's Guide To Early Communication'.

- This program is designed for parents of children aged 2 to 5 years who are not yet talking or who have challenges in back and forth interaction or conversation.

- The program is strengths-based, practical, time efficient, walks you through strategies, and is completely tailored to your child.

- Carolyn does not assess, diagnose, or provide reports. The focus is what will help support your child right now.

The full program comprises 7 individual sessions, aimed at coaching you in early intervention strategies to start making a difference every day during your normal every day routines. This is one of the best ways to impact a child's early communication development.

- Ideal for busy parents: Little time commitment: Select your own weekly / twice monthly session times, and practice strategies in short bursts of 2-3 minutes a day to make a real difference.

- Book in for the first session then decide if you wish to continue with the rest.

- Carolyn currently has spaces set aside on Tuesdays and Wedensdays.

- Research confirms that coaching parents of young children in early intervention strategies through telepractice promotes:

More parent-child interactions using coaching (Aikens et al., 2015, Behl et al 2017)
Increased family participation using coaching (Behl et al., 2017; McCarthy, Munoz, and White, 2010)
More frequently prompted child communication (McDuffie et al., 2013)
Increased use of evidence-based communication strategies for parents with autistic children (Wattanawongwan et al, 2022)
Improvement in communication skills in children (Behl et al, 2017; Brown and Woods, 2015
Increase in parent confidence in use of strategies through coaching and reduction of stress (Gentile et al., 2022)
High family satisfaction: high-quality sessions using a coaching model and progress on goals (Behl et al 2017; Crutchley & Campbell, 2010)

Carolyn Webb, Early Communication Parent Coach has a background of 30+ years experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (Registered in Ireland: CORU Reg. SL 015115). In latter years, her role has pivoted to provide parent coaching.
