Registration - Beyond the Bell: MARCH 18, 2025 
The Mind Trust and EmpowerED Families are excited to collaborate with community organizations to host Beyond the Bell: A Community Conversation About Education, series of four engaging events across Indianapolis.

Beyond the Bell will explore critical topics in education, including IREAD literacy and student retention laws, the impact of chronic absenteeism, the new Indiana high school graduation requirements, and out of school time. 

March's Beyond the Bell event will be hosted in partnership with the Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center

Time: 4:45PM - 7:30PM (program begins at 6PM)

Program details: We'll hear from a panel of education experts on current issues in K-12 education. After the panel, we will break out into small groups to dive deeper on discussion topics like IREAD, the new high school diploma requirements, chronic absenteeism, and choosing a school that meets your child's needs. 

What to expect: 
  • Dinner will be served from 4:45 - 6PM.
  • Childcare will be available. 
  • Spanish and Haitian Creole translation will be available. 
  • Raffle prizes and giveaways included. 
  • All are welcome! This discussion is for parents, students, and community members who want to learn more about these important education topics.
