Alumni Relations Committee
Helping to plan networking and/or educational opportunities for alumni. Supporting other ILD events and projects that are of interest to the alumni community.
Estimated time commitment: 2-4 meetings over the year and assistance with events.

Donor Relations Committee
Helping with annual fundraising for ILD including support from Foundations, Local organizations, Alumni and individuals along with donor stewardship throughout the year.
Estimated time commitment: 3-5 meetings over the year and some individual work. Roughly 5-7 hours.

Capstone Planning Committee/Capstone Coordinator
Helping identify and recruit panel members and to assist with capstone process. To serve as a coordinator on the day of presentations, potentially serve as moderator and assist each panel with any logistics.
Estimated time commitment: 4-5 hours planning time and then 5-6 hours on the actual capstone presentation day.

Communications
Assist with communications around recruitment of a new class as well as other opportunities as they arise to spread the word about ILD. Possibilities include conferences and events, helping with mailing/materials, etc.
Estimated time commitment: 1-3 meetings with some individual work along the way, roughly 3-5 hours.

Curriculum Planning Committee
Help shape the curriculum content and serve as a liaison for 1-3 of the sessions, coordinating speakers and session logistics. Planning in April, May and specific sessions during the class year.
Estimated time commitment: Attend 2-3 planning meetings and roughly 6-8 hours plus attending a few monthly classes half - or full-day.

Mentor Planning Committee: Help build pool of mentors, match mentors with new class members, review training materials and guidelines, conduct and review mentor surveys.
Estimated time commitment: Busiest time in July and August after new class has been identified. Attend 2-3 planning meetings for roughly 6-8 hours.

Serve as a mentor for new class member. Mentors are expected to have 10+ years of One-on-One fundraising experience. Attend training and meet with mentee once a month with additional phone calls to support mentee throughout the year and review capstone project. (Additional criteria apply to potential mentors)

Help identify applicants, review application and announcement materials, review applications, interview candidates.
Time Commitment: February-May with April and May requiring the most time for reviewing applications and interviewing candidates. Roughly 15 hours

Help with the kick-off reception, graduation and other special events. Each event may have it's own committee.

After one year has passed from graduation, alumni are encouraged to get involved with the Steering Committee. Please contact me about opportunities to serve on the Steering Committee or in another leadership role. (Additional criteria apply)
