The Women in Science & Health (WISH) Program is a health professional shadowing opportunity provided through the Health Careers Office at Spelman College. Students who are registered with the Health Careers Office and hold an interest in clinical shadowing should contact Dr. Tolbert at ntolber1@spelman.edu to discuss available options.

Requirements
A candidate must meet the following requirements:
• A registered member with the Health Careers Office
• Have a dedicated interest in patient care, public health, or health administration
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification
• HIPAA trained (a training module will be provided if not)

Note: It is the priority of our clinical and public health partners to maintain a safe environment for students, their patients, their staff as well as themselves. Given the public health implications of COVID-19, all clinical shadowing and practicum sites are discontinued until further notice in an effort to minimize exposure. However, virtual opportunities may be available based on the availability of our partners.
