Communities Connecting Heritage Inquiry Form
Communities Connecting Heritage is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by World Learning. It is an international people-to-people exchange program that engages underserved communities and empowers people through the exploration of cultural heritage issues. The program brings together U.S. and international communities, especially youth, women, ethnic minorities and other underserved groups, through collaborative exchange projects that advance cultural heritage appreciation and preservation through community outreach and public education.
World Learning works with U.S.-based and international organizations to implement this program. Cultural organizations that are eligible to participate in this opportunity include, but are not limited to, art centers, cultural associations, historical sites, museums, libraries, and universities. Outcomes for participating organizations include an international partnership, a rich exchange experience (both virtual and in-person) for your community members, and capacity building for your organization in proposal development, cross-cultural communication, and other themes.
World Learning is seeking US-based organizations to request an application through this Inquiry Form. If you are an international organization, please reach out directly to the U.S. Embassy in your home country to be considered for nomination. Nominations must be received no later than November 14, 2018. Once nominated, international organizations will receive the application, which is due by 11:59pm EST on December 7, 2018.
