Climate Change in Hamilton Survey
Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey! Environment Hamilton was awarded a grant through the City of Hamilton’s Community Enrichment Fund to conduct this survey across Hamilton. The survey is designed for two things: to measure your current understanding of climate issues, and collect feedback on your primary areas of concern. We will be sharing our findings with the public, and they will help us identify key areas of concern among the public in which we will host workshops (which you’ll be invited to) to address them.

The survey will take about 5-10 minutes of your time.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
Unless otherwise indicated, all question topics as they are related to climate change have two parts:
The first part uses a scale of 1 to 5 to gauge your level of concern about a topic. A 1 = little or no concern and, 5 = very concerned. It’s important to stress we are not asking you to evaluate your personal knowledge of the topic, just your personal level of concern about each climate-related issue and how it will impact you and your community.

The second part uses a scale of 1 to 5 to gauge how urgent you feel each topic is. 1 = very low to non-existent, 5 = very urgent. Reflect on whether each issue needs to be addressed sooner or later - independent of your concern level. (for example, you may be very concerned with an issue, but feel it’s not something that’s immediately urgent)
