From Ramble to Preamble: Crafting Stories For Your Songs
Friday, May 3rd at 6:30 PM at the Old Firehall

For some performers, the only thing scarier than playing your songs onstage is that void space between songs... while you're tuning your guitar... everyone is staring... and all your words have dried up. And yet, telling stories about songs or the musician's journey can really enhance performance and solidify a connection between a performer and her audience. A good way to turn this nightmare fuel into a positive experience - and to increase performing confidence - is to craft those "song-stories" with care and intention and to practice them in a safe space. From stage ramble to preamble is a peer led workshop to Improve your stage presence by developing stories or introductions to one of your songs (or a song you like to perform). Join us 6:30-9:30pm on Friday, May 3rd upstairs in the old firehall. Attendance by donation.
