DFW 2019 SECC is your opportunity to bring industry attention to your idea, your work, compete for cash prizes, and gain STEM experience and valuable input from industry experts. This is a STEM event that supports the National DiscoverE Engineers Week. This event consists of two parallel programs: SECC Competition and STEM Seminar.
SECC Competition is designed for grades 6 to 12 to inspire students' interest in STEM through hands-on & creativity projects, recognition, real world challenges, and interaction with industry.
STEM Seminar "Unleashing Creativity through STEM Projects" is designed for parents and students of ALL grades. STEM professionals will share their experience, hot topics, and collaboration with local schools. Free admission but registration is required.

* Each of the top three places will also receive a trophy at the event award ceremony, presented by the event corporate sponsors. Award recipients will also be recognized at CIE’s website and eNewsletter, local news media, and showcased in CIE’s Annual Convention.
