- Organizing and executing 2 class parties (Winter Holiday and End of Year) according to the teacher's requests

- Requesting donations of snacks or school supplies from the rest of the parents in that class, using Signup Genius or Amazon Wish List

- Supporting the teacher as they need (for example: if you are available to collate worksheets/packets or prep a craft, please let your teacher know)

- Assisting with other various projects or events (for example: room parents coordinated activities for the solar eclipse a couple of years ago)

- Decorating the grade hallway or classroom if requested (for example: the 1st Grade hallway was transformed into a gingerbread house last Winter to accompany their party theme) 

Please note that this role's primary responsiblity is to support the teacher - easing the workload they may have. We do understand that parents may have jobs and younger children they are responsible for, and no event or task is required of a volunteer. Please help when you are able and communicate when you are unavailable to do so. Many of these tasks can be done at home on your own time, while some will need to be completed on school property during school hours.
