We are living in unprecedented times. These times call for new ways of engaging our communities around the issues they are facing every day. We believe that community and student voices have deep insight on how we can transform our educational systems moving forward. Join us for a time where we attempt to model what effective listening can look like. We will have a panel of community voices that speak to the ongoing concerns they are facing, and imagine what more effective community outreach can look like. Also tune in to hear Dr. Rema Reynolds, who will provide some expert knowledge on the current state of community engagement from our schools. A summary of this conversation will be sent to educational institutions and organizers to help provide a baseline for ongoing community engagement.
