Child Care For "Essential" Workers
Due the Westchester County and New York State of Emergency, the Elmsford Union Free School District is collecting information about the child care needs for the children of essential health care workers and first responders who live in the EUFSD community.
Essential health care workers include licensed health professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, LPNs, nurse assistants or laboratory personnel. First responders include paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters. police officers, and other public safety personnel.
Pending the availability of resources and the number of requests received, this child care will be available for children ages 3 through 12, each weekday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
If you are a Elmsford UFSD parent/guardian of a child ages 3 through 12 and you are an essential health care worker or first responder as listed above and need child care, please complete this form ASAP so that we may provide you with additional information.
