#YouCanAlsoBeA Sound Engineer
Aarhus Lydforening in collaboration with ROSA, DMF Aarhus, Turkis , Radar and VEGA is organising a project to raise women and gender minority involvement in live sound engineering and music technology.

We are planning to have 3 days of intense seminars and workshops in different venues in Aarhus.  Our mentors will share knowledge and experience on how to work with live concerts, explaining technical details, and challenges and letting participants work with that. We also host a small discussion panel regarding gender challenges in this field and current situation in Denmark.

After 3 days of workshops, we would like to track comparisons between educational experiences and workplace experiences. Therefore we provide further support for suggestions of internships, job offers, and other workshops in the music technology field.

This project is mainly focused on young (16-35) female and non-binary persons all over Denmark who are interested in live sound engineering and music technology from any genre.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The price - DKK 200 Lunch, snacks and concert tickets are included in the price.
