This course is an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). Students will learn basic signs and the importance of ASL as communication. Students will learn basic signs, including the alphabet, colors, numbers up to 20, and essential communication signs. Learning activities will include songs and a variety of games. We will have a quick snack during each class. Snacks will be available but students can bring their own. Please know that we are not certified ASL teachers/interpreters.
