This form lets me know that you plan on participating in the Virginia Run Band next school year! All Rising 5th and 6th Grade students are eligible and encouraged to participate in Band!
Students who are signing up for Beginning Band WILL NOT CHOOSE AN INSTRUMENT until the beginning of next school year! Mr. Bandy will meet with every Beginning Band student one-on-one to try out the instruments and mouthpieces before making a final decision. This will help to ensure that students choose an instrument that is a good fit for their unique physical characteristics.
More information on instrument options will be available on the next section of this form. You will be asked to list your TOP TWO choices of instrument. This will help give me a rough idea for next year's instrumentation.
The deadline to sign up is Friday, June 7th!
