CHS is pleased to reignite our journalism program! Quest and Howl are teaming up to look for students who are interested in photography, reporting/writing, podcasting, and vodcasting for the program! Students will have the opportunity to meet and lobby ideas, craft, design, and create content for CHS Journalism and Media.

In both the 1987 and the 2008 studies by the Newspaper Association of America, students with journalism experience in high school earned higher scores than non-journalism students in these areas:
* High school overall grade point average
* ACT Composite score
* ACT English score
* College freshman English grade
* College freshman grade point average
CHS Journalism will informally meet weekly for students to check in and share ideas. The Journalism Lab will be open to all journalism students every day during lunch, where students can also access the microwave, brewer, and top of the line equipment.
