Propositions, amendments, photo ID requirements, gerrymandering...what does it all mean? Nancy Miller, co-president of the St. Louis Chapter of the League of Women Voters, will discuss constitutional amendments and propositions that will appear on the November ballot and what they mean. She will review the status of current legal challenges to both ballot items and Missouri's photo ID law. In addition, she will discuss what's being done to limit gerrymandering in Missouri. She will provide action steps that concerned citizens can take in response to attempts to restrict voting and will answer questions about the upcoming November election.

Nancy Miller has been an educator in various settings for many years in the public schools of Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming and finally Missouri. In her years at the League of Women Voters she has been the second vice-president, Editor of the LWV In League Reporter, chair of the Education Committee, Living Wage Committee, coordinator of the Speakers Bureau, Candidate Forum Moderator and Speakers Bureau presenter. She currently serves as co-president of the Metro St. Louis LWV. She and her husband have four grown children and seven grandchildren and live in Manchester, Missouri.
