Training Overview:
-----------------------WHAT IS THIS?-----------------------------
Join 30 activists from DivestEd, Our Climate, and the Sunrise Movement to explore and grow the complex, interconnected, and powerful youth climate movement at our Student Climate Advocacy Camp in Boston. We are eager to understand the diversity of approaches our organizations bring to the climate movement and to build solidarity by sharing our best knowledge and skills.

The camp curriculum will cover the ins and outs of climate policy and advocacy, while inviting participants to share their stories—and desire for bold climate action—through creative projects by:
--> Providing a multi-day deep dive on critical climate advocacy knowledge and skills: storytelling, organizing, climate policy, and lobbying
--> Giving youth climate groups in MA the chance to network, collaborate, and coordinate
--> Building a collaborative Capstone Project—a banner, a video, a storybook, a community or legislator facing presentation—that builds unity and momentum

-----------------------WHO IS THIS FOR?-----------------------------
This registration form is for youth who are current students* (middle through grad school!) and have interacted before with Sunrise. Preference will be given to those based Massachusetts.
*A focus of this program is organizing in a school setting
