The Eastern Caribbean  shows strong potential for the development and use of geothermal energy. Exploratory  work is ongoing to further confirm and quantify the geothermal resources that exist in a number of the OECS countries. To support further geothermal development  activity, promote regional collaboration  and provide ready access to  quality geothermal expertise and resources in the region, there is need for easy and sustained networking amongst  geothermal professionals in the region. In this regard, knowledge about companies and experts who have worked, are currently working or are interested in offering  their knowledge and services is required. The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Commission is therefore pleased to  extend an invitation to qualified companies and  persons to be included in a Caribbean Geothermal Company and Expert Pool. Inclusion in this expert pool will increase visibility whilst promoting networking and collaboration for geothermal energy in the region. Registered companies and persons  can also view this as a free marketing tool  that will help match the demand for expertise with existing project opportunities. The information provided will be published on the OECS website (www.OECS.org) to be used by  the general public  including Governments, utilities or Development companies in the Region.
