Interest Survey for AI Policy Focus Group
Discussions regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in schools is a frequent topic in regional and nationwide technology forums.  Since ChatGPT launched at the beginning of 2023, we have seen new tools and resources launch that integrate AI and help to automate tasks, analyze data and generate responses and content.  Our district has even promoted tools like Curipod and MagicSchool and has provided professional development to our staff to teach them how to leverage AI in our classrooms.

The district is launching a focus group to help determine our principles and beliefs regarding AI use in our schools and ultimately create an AI policy for our schools.  The policy will then we used to help guide how our schools continue to research and evaluate tools that integrate AI usage in our classrooms.
