Distinguished Alumni Award Nomination
In 1928, the first graduating class of Fort Smith Junior College coined the phrase — “Through diligence to victory.” Inspired by their motto, this award is the highest alumni honor bestowed by the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Recipients are alumni who exemplify this sentiment – having historically distinguished themselves through outstanding leadership in their professional lives, or through service to the university, community, state, or nation. This is a lifetime achievement award for individuals typically over 40 (under 40 would qualify for the young alumni award).
