M. Foscue Brock Institute Database Survey

The Brock Institute is continually collecting information in order to populate the Community and Global Health Projects Database. This database catalogues community health focused projects and activities at EVMS. This database, as its name denotes, includes projects and activities in the Hampton Roads area, as well as projects at the state, national and international level. If you, or someone in your department, are engaged in a community-oriented project or activity please complete and submit the following form.     Database Criteria

    The Brock Institute has determined a number of criteria that community projects and activities should meet in order to be added to the Community and Global Health Project Database. These criteria include the following: -Projects must be ongoing -Projects must be affiliated with and approved by EVMS departments chairs or administrative leadership -Projects must serve the local community or region and involve interaction with community leaders and community members -Projects must be managed, at least in part, by EVMS faculty or staff -Projects must involve one or more of the following: community service/outreach, service learning, clinical service and research/scholarship -Projects must make a material contribution to the educational, research or clinical mission of EVMS
