Providence City Youth Council Application Summer 2024 to Summer 2025
Youth applying for the Providence City Youth Council can expect one or two activities or service opportunities per month. This council is open for youth in 8th - 12th grade. A new council begins each year in the summer. Activities include Parades, City Celebration, Youth Dance, Christmas Tree Lighting, Ski Night, Day at the Legislature in Salt Lake, Easter Egg Hunt, and other service projects, activities, and events that youth council members present and plan. Youth who are most actively involved in the council will be rewarded with new friends, unique opportunities, and the invitation to attend the three-day Youth Leadership Conference at USU in March.

You must attend 75% of the activities/meetings to qualify for a letter of recommendation. Leadership Conference eligibility is determined by highest attendance for 9th – 12th grade youth members.
