WHY JOIN THE PTO?

MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Research proves when parents are invited into schools great things happen - test scores rise - behavior improves - staff feel validated.  When parents are active you have a true school community and children thrive. 

HAVE A VOICE: Being a member of the FHS PTO gives you a voice in the school community.  You become advocates for the students.  Members have a say in planning, creating, and executing activities that make FHS a better place to learn and work. 

WHAT WE DO:  Teacher appreciation events, fund continuing education opportunities for teachers and staff, fund Robert Carpenter $1000 scholarship to graduating senior, purchase educational materials for classrooms, help fund technology improvements, and other classroom/school requests from teachers and staff for consideration and purchase.
